Selina Thompson Ltd is 10! That’s 10 years of art making, of writing, of laughing, of learning and growing, of challenging, of talking, of Theatre, of Live Art, of performance, of personal, of political, of Blackness, of disability, of queerness and most of all of joy. 

We reckon in this moment, to have gotten this far, is an achievement to be marked. We could not have done it without the community around us encouraging us and collaborating with us.  

So, we’re inviting you all to join us for our 10th Birthday party - an Art Party, featuring 10 specially commissioned artworks from 10 of the brightest artists. Expect cabaret turns, visual art installations, craft breaks, performance art, live music, skillfully concocted drinks and we’ll even send you home with your own artist created party bag! We will raise a glass together, toast the company and even give you something to nibble on during the night!

Access information:

The event is a multi-performance art party, taking place across different spaces throughout the building. The Edge has step-free access and an elevator to upper floors. There will be wheelchair spaces available and a range of seating options. If you require specific seating options, please add this not when booking your ticket so we can ensure it is in place.

There are accessible toilets on-site. All toilets are gender neutral.

There are limited car parking spaces on-site, please contact us on info@selinathompson.co.uk with the header BDAY PARKING if you would like to request one. There is also nearby on-street parking and carparks a short walk.

We will have some ear defenders, fidget toys and hand sanitiser available for anyone who would appreciate them.

Taking influence from relaxed performances, audiences can tick and stim, make noise and leave and return to the performance space as needed. Audiences should note however, there may be some loud noises and bright lights during the show.

The space will be ventilated in between performances throughout the night.

If you need to attend with an access support worker or personal assistant their ticket will be free of charge.

We have kept our ticket prices purposely low, but if cost remains a barrier to you we also run a skint list, to request to be added please email info@selinathompson.co.uk with the header SKINTLIST
